John Barksdale DDS
Since graduating from LSU School of Dentistry in 1975, Dr. Barksdale has maintained private practice in Baton Rouge. Dr. Barksdale completed a two year practicing residency program for Implant Surgery and Prosthetics at the Misch Implant Institute and has achieved Diplomate in the International College of Oral Implantologists, as well as Fellowships in the Academy of Osseointegration, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the Misch International Implant Institute. Dr. Barksdale lectures nationally. Since 1998, he has served as a board member of The Louisiana Academy of Continuing Dental Education, Inc. and currently serves as President. Dr. Barksdale enjoys being one of only eight dentists in Louisiana to be Accredited by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
